About Our Leaders
A new grass-root Polish-American organization under the name The Coalition of Polish Americans (“CPA”) was born on September 24, 2017, in Washington, DC. At its second organizational meeting, the CPA founding members adopted bylaws and elected its leaders. Representatives from ten key states of the USA took part in the meeting.The Coalition of Polish Americans is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the interests of Polish Americans. The Coalition of Polish Americans monitors, expresses its views, and acts upon local, state, national and international issues of particular concern to the Polish American community.
According to the Founding Declaration dated April 19, 2017, the CPA respects and promotes the Polish heritage, its Christian tradition, and upholds values of sovereignty and independence deeply cherished by the United States of America and Poland. The founding members also underscore spiritual bonds with the Polish people beyond borders.
The 3rd Annual Election Meeting of the CPA in October, 2021, again changed the composition of our leadership. Dr. Stanisław Śliwowski from New Jersey, after serving his two terms (maximum allowed) as the President of the CPA , was replaced in that capacity by Leszek Pawlik (former Secretary), but remains on the Board in the position of Vice President (VP) for Youth and Educational Affairs. Other changes are reflected in the table below.
The Board welcomes two newcomers: Halina Koralewski as VP for Cultural Affairs, and Jacek Marczyński as a new Board Member.
The Coalition of Polish Americans supports the commonwealth of Polish Americans and invites all interested to join.

Leszek Pawlik, absolwent Uniwersytetu Sląskiego w Katowicach, kierunek informatyka. Wyemigrował do USA na skutek stanu wojennego w 1984 roku. Od tego czasu mieszka w okolicach Los Angeles, CA.
28 letnia kariera w liniach lotniczych jako manager i specjalista IT. Od dwu lat na emeryturze. Działacz społeczny w Koalicji Polonii Amerykańskiej (od 2017 r., jeden z członków założycieli), Kongresie Polonii Amerykańskiej (Dyrektor Krajowy i VP d/s Polskich KPA w Południowej Californii), Instyucie Polonii (vice-prezes), Ośrodku Polskim w Los Angeles (członek zarządu). Wieloletni prezes Polskiego Związku Tenisa w Południowej Kalifornii. Za swój główny cel uważa walkę o niezawisłość Polski. Kibic tenisa, piłki nożnej i siatkówki.
